2018 U20 WAFU Cup: NFF conveys Flying Eagles  to Togo by road

Nigeria’s U-20 Men’s National Team will travel by road to Togo for the 2018 WAFU U-20 Cup after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) jettisoned arrangements to fly the team by air.

Based on this, the team are expected to depart tomorrow.

Sportinglife.ng gathered that the team will make the trip to the West African country from Lagos which is seven hours and not Abuja where they were camped ahead of the competition.

Nigeria tackle Benin Republic on Sunday in their opening group B game before facing Ghana and Niger.

Nigeria is using the regional tournament to prepare  for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niger in February which will determine the four teams that will represent the continent at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
