2019 AFCON q/final clash Zungu: We’re watching Eagles video

The Bafana Bafana of South Africa began preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations  quarter finals clash against Nigeria by watching videos of previous matches played by the Super Eagles at the tournament.

According to Amiens SC of France midfielder, Bongani Zungu, the entire South Africa squad watched the video tapes yesterday, a day after beating the Pharaohs to see how the Nigerians play and come up with a winning strategy for the match on Wednesday in Cairo.
”With Nigeria they are a good team, we will start watching their videos and see how they play. For now, I am just happy with this win, we will focus on Nigeria now.”
Zungu who was in the South Africa side that shocked the Eagles 2-0 in Uyo two years ago and missed the return leg in November 2018 due to a knee injury, avoided name-checking when he was asked to pick the most dangerous player in the Nigeria squad, saying the West Africans have several quality players in their squad.
”They have got top midfielders, they have good attackers, I can’t spot one that I can say is the best.
”Some of them are the best, for us it is just to have confidence because we are a good team and we showed character against Egypt, and hopefully we carry on from here, try to improve, be humble and take every game as it comes, and hopefully we’ll get more positive results,” he concluded.
