2019 AFCON qualifier: Eagles face South Africa visa hurdle

It has been revealed that some of the Super Eagles stars invited for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match away to South Africa in Johannesburg on Saturday, November 17, 2018 are battling to secure South Africa visas.

But when contacted, the Super Eagles’Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr told Sportinglife.ng that the visa issue won’t be a big problem although some of the players have to resolve this on time this week.

“Visa issues for some players have to be resolved”, Rohr disclosed from his base in France yesterday.

He also disclosed that he would be in Nigeria latest this Friday to start preparations for the make or mar match that would determine Eagles’ qualification for the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon with a match to spare.

“I will arrive after the European games (UEFA Champions League and Europa League) this week.
