The inaugural 3 x 3 basketball competition will dunk off at the Package B of the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja on October 11 with 24 men and women teams in attendance.
According to the sponsor, Frank Jituboh who doubles as the Coordinator of the National 3 x 3 teams, the tournament will feature 18 games.
The competition will also accommodate the national team currently in camp preparing for the 2019 3×3 FIBA Africa Nations Cup to be held in Kampala in Uganda between November 7 and 11.

Jituboh who doubles as the Federal Capital City (FCT) Basketball Chairman, disclosed that winners in different categories will go home with cash prizes with the overall inner will guaranteed N300, 000. The first and second runners up will receive N150, 000 and N100, 000 respectively while winners in the shooting and dunking competition will also get the sum of N30, 000 each.
