Heartland have replaced its technical adviser Ramson Madu with Ezekiel Onyegbulem following a poor run of results.
The Naze Millionaires announced the change on Friday through a press statement signed by the club’s media officer, Henry Echefu
Youth coach, Isaac Mbaegbu is to assist Onyegbulem whose last job was with an Abuja based female side.
“The management of Heartland FC of Owerri, led by Chibuzor Etuemena, has directed head coach Ramson Madu to temporarily step aside. “The decision is due to the team’s recent poor performances in
the ongoing 2017/2018 NPFL,” a statement signed by the club’s media officer, Henry Echefu read.
“In place of the Madu-led technical crew, the club has directed that coach Ezekiel Onyegbulem should take charge of the team. “He will be assisted by coach Isaac Mbaegbu who is recently in the club’s youth team, the Team B. The decision is with immediate effect.”
Onyegbulem’s first assignment will be against Nasarawa United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday in a week 14 fixture.
Heartland are presently 19th on the NPFL standings.
