A new dawn beckons for Super Eagles players during the Russia 2018 World Cup scheduled to begin for Nigeria with the opening game against Croatia on June 16, following the decision of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to allow them exchange their jerseys with their opponents after matches.

Disclosing this exclusively to Sportinglife.ng via a text message, NFF President Amaju Pinnick wrote that: ”They will surely have abundance of jerseys. And indeed, they will be able to exchange jerseys after matches.”

Asked if he was satisfied with the players’ and coaches’ performances during the two games against Poland in Wroclaw and against Serbia in England, Pinnick wrote that:”Trust me, it was a good preparatory game against Poland, for instance.

We are satisfied. you learn more when you lose matches and learn less when you win games.
”I must congratulate Serbia for giving us a good game which helped to expose the weaknesses of our team. This is the essence of playing such friendly games. The coaches have taken notes and we expect good reaction from them in subsequent matches before the World Cup proper in Russia.”
