Nigeria international, Kayode Olanrewaju says he will continue to give his best after a dream start with Shaktar Donetsk in the Ukranian Premier League Championship.

Shaktar won 3-1  away to Zorya, with Olanrewaju grabbing the winner in the 93rd minute on Sunday evening.

“My goal was to announce my arrival in the team and to let the fans know that l am ready for business,” he said.

The Manchester City on-loan striker who came in for Facundo Ferreya in the 91st minute had barely spent up to two minutes on the pitch when he get on the scorer sheet.

His move to Ukraine this year  was to redeem his career after a frustrating spell with Spanish La Liga side, Girona.

It was his impressive outing in Austria last season where he finished as top scorer that earned him a move to English Premier league side, Manchester City. City immediately shipped him to Girona on loan to get enough playing time this season.

While with Girona,  Olanrewaju failed to score in over 10 games.
