CAF CONFEDERATION CUP PLAYOFFS: Enyimba land in South Africa

Enyimba have landed in South Africa for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Playoffs against Bidvest Wits without some of its key players.

Stand in captain, Ifeanyi Anaemena was dropped from the 18- man list along with Wasiu Alalade and Ikouwem Utin.  The club’s management did not give any reason for dropping the players at the last minute.

Enyimba traveled with Stanley Dimgba, Farouk Umar, Dare Ojo, AndrewAbalogu, Stephen Chukwude, Chinonso Okonkwo while Uche John who has improved tremendously is favoured to captain the team.

The two-time Africa champions will battle the reigning South Africa PSL champions at the Milpark Stadium in Johannesburg on Friday from 8pm South Africa time. .
