Ex-Super Eagles defender now turned pastor, Taribo West has concluded plans to hold a 3-day revival at Allen Avenue, an upscale area of Ikeja to win souls for Jesus Christ.

The former Inter Milan player, who is the founder of Shelter in the Storm Miracle Ministries of all Nation, will hold the crusade from April 13.

SportingLife.ng spotted one of the fliers announcing the crusade with Taribo’s picture around Alade Market, close to the traffic lights on Allen Avenue.

One of the highlights will be a ball-juggling session which is aimed at attracting people to the programme.

The ex-footballer, who seems to be waxing strong doing the work of the Lord, had a church in Italy before relocating to Nigeria to continue with his pastoral work. He founded his ministry in 2014.

He had held a similar programme in Ajegunle, a suburb in Lagos in 2015 which pulled a large crowd.

Taribo was a member of the senior team that lost to Cameroon in the final of the 2000 Nations Cup co-hosted by Nigeria and Ghana. He was also part of the Nigerian Dream Team that won gold in the Atlanta ’96 Olympics
