Falcons coach begins AWCON preparations, watches Bayelsa, Confluence Queens clash

Dennerby who arrived the country from his base in Sweden this week has commenced preparations for the Africa Women Championship (AWCON  qualifiers after last week’s friendly against France.

Nigeria have been confirmed to face Gambia in the second round of the AWCON qualifiers in June. The winner will qualify for the women’s tournament in Ghana later in the year that also serves as the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

He is expected to watch more league matches to hunt for players that would be called to camp for the first leg scheduled for the first week of June.
