LaLiga: Villarreal determined not to lose Barcelona target Foyth

Villarreal are digging in their heels over Barcelona’s interest in Juan Foyth.

Sport says Villarreal have stated Foyth is not for sale. If Barça were to ask for the Argentine international, their demand would be his €42m buyout clause.

The Yellows also claim that Foyth is a key part of their team, coached by Unai Emery.

According to a report from Jijantes, the player’s agent, Claudio Curti, went this Tuesday to the FC Barcelona offices at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Barcelona director of football Mateu Alemany is the main driver of the deal. Foyth has a contract with Villarreal until 30 June 2026.
