The on-loan Manchester City striker, who was starting his first Ukranian Cup game since joining on loan from Manchester City, scored his side’s fourth goal with a well-taken finish in the 74th minute.
“It is always a good thing to score in a match. And l like l promised before, l am here to score and not watch,”” said Olanrewaju.

 

Teammate Taison had given the Cup holders something to cheer when he scored in the 8th minute with Marlos getting the third  thirty minutes later,  and 15 minutes later Taison grabbed his second to put the game beyond their opponents.
Ivan Petryak completed the thrashing with nine minutes left to send Shakhtar to the final where they will square up against arch rivals Dynamo Kiev who defeated Dnipro 4-1.
Kayode has now scored two goals in three matches for the Ukrainian champions as he continues to fight his way into the Super Eagles.
