Ndidi is Nigeria’s most valuable player

Leicester of England and Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been ranked Nigeria’s most valuable player going
by a recent survey conducted by the International Centre for Sports Studies,(CIES) a Football Observatory research body ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

The body on Monday named Ndidi who should be in action on Wednesday against Czech Republic in an
international friendly in the 100 Most Valuable Player list.

The player was ranked 79 and valued at £62.7 million in a list that has Mohammed Salah as the only
African player making the top ten at £171.3m.

Topping the list is England captain, Harry Kane who is valued at £201.2 million, while Neymar and PSG
teammate Kylian Mbappe occupy the second and third positions with £195.7 million and £186.5 million
respectively.

Argentina and Barcelona star Lionel Messi is fourth with a value of £184.2 million. Other players on
the list are Dele Alli (£171.0m), Kevin De Bruyne (£167.2m), Antoine Greizmann (£164.5 m)
Paulo Dybala (£164.2m) and Romelu Lukaku (£163.4m)

Interestingly, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is in the 24th position with a value of £103.4
million.
