Leipzig makes improved N8.5bn bid for Lookman

Nigerian-born Everton loanee, Ademola Lookman and Red Bull Leipzig are hoping to make an agreement with
the Toffees over a permanent move.

After his successful loan spell in Germany in the second half of last season, the Bundesliga side is
willing to keep him offering an improved bid of £18m as quoted in the Dailymail website.

The Bundesliga side have so far had two offers rejected for the Everton striker, while publiclysaying he is not for sale.
Everton are said to be considering letting him go if he doesn’t want to stay at the Merseyside for £20m fee for the 20-year-old forward.

Leipzig’s former sporting director and now team manager, Ralf Rangnick, has made no secret of his desire to acquire the 20-year-old on a permanent basis and says he has received encouragement from the player himself.

Now Leipzig hope that Everton will re-open negotiations for Lookman in the final 10 days of the
transfer window. Even if it means pushing the eventual price up to £25m for the England Under-21
international.
