Chelsea ready to offer five year contracts to Abraham, Tomori
According to the British Media, Chelsea is willing to offer the duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori a five-year contract following their performances so far this season.
Chelsea’s decision to get the players to commit their future to the club underlines their importance under manager, Frank Lampard.
Lampard, in particular, has always risen to the defence of Abraham who at the beginning came under fire for his below-the-par performance.
But lately, he has proved his critics wrong by scoring seven goals including a hat-trick against Wolverhampton Wanderers
If the deal is however firmed up, Abraham’s contract which was signed in 2017 will run till 2022.
For Tomori who returned to the Blues from Derby County where he was on loan he has started Chelsea’s last three matches and got on the score sheet in the 5-2 win at Wolves.
