It’s Osimhen’s job to score–Lille coach

Lille coach Christophe Galtier has jokingly said the responsibility of Victor Osimhen is to score for the club.

“Victor Osimhen scored again? It’s his job ( smile ). In all the teams that are at the top, there is always a big striker. We must not forget all the collective work done around him. But obviously he is an important element,” the Lille coach saluted.

“ And I’m very happy that we can win in this way, that our two forwards scored in this 4-4-2. This victory should allow us to trigger a real dynamic by showing all players that they can exist in this quality group.”

Osimhen who has been invited for the international friendly against Brazil scored his sixth goal of the season in the French Ligue on Wednesday night.

The 20-year-old scored in the 43rd minute to give Lille a 1-0 lead and then assisted Loic Remy for the second goal as they beat Strasbourg 2-0.
