Ndidi makes history with Leicester in NINE goal thriller against Southampton
Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi played his 10th game of the season for Leicester City who secured their biggest win in the premier league after demolishing 10-man Southampton 9-0 at St Mary’s Stadium on Friday night.
He did not waste time to celebrate the big win on Twitter.
“What a night!!!,” he posted on his Twitter handle.
Hat-tricks from Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy which were added to by Youri Tielemans and James Maddison sent the Foxes to second in the table. Ben Chilwell led the goals spree from the 10th minute.
Ryan Bertrand’s early red card, awarded by VAR for a reckless challenge in the aftermath of Chilwell’s early opener, proved catastrophic for the hosts.
Leicester are the second team in Premier League history to establish a five-goal lead in the first half of an away game, according to Opta.
