Enyimba chase consolidation points against Agadir
Confederation Cup campaigners Enyimba have a good chance of pushing closer to the next round as the host Hassania Agadir of Morocco on Sunday.
The Peoples Elephant occupy the second position in Group D with leaders Agadir having 10 points in the kitty as against Enyimba’s six points.
Should Enyimba earn maximum three points at the Aba Township Stadium they would be heading into the next match against San Pedro with nine points in the kitty.
Only Pyramids of Egypt have sealed a quarter final spot with 12 points in the kitty even as they hosts Rangers international who are already out of the competition with only two points in the kitty.
The Pyramids are sure to consolidate against visiting Rangers on Sunday as they aim to take their points to 15. Hopeful Enyimba will not only put all the arsenals in the armory into Sunday’s match but will also watch out against rampaging Karim El Berkaoui who scored a hat-trick in the course of Agadir’s 10 points accumulation.
Karim El Berkaoui who currently leads top goal scorer chat in the competition this season with four goals to his credit will be seeking opportunity to further extend his goal scoring lead.
