No taken chances as Anthony Martial dons protective gloves

Anthony Martial has been spotted wearing latex gloves while filling up his Range Rover, with the Manchester United star taking measures against the coronavirus outbreak.

The forward ventured out with the country on lockdown but showed he’s taking the virus seriously by wearing a blue glove on his right hand.

Martial has had his goal scoring form interrupted with the Premier League going on pause in an effort to limit the spread of the disease.

Martial has scored three goals in his last four Premier League games, stepping up for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to fill in for the injured Marcus Rashford.

The Old Trafford side have shut the doors of their Carrington training ground, and Martial is completing his own personalised training programme from home.

United have rebuilt a Champions League challenge, sitting three points off fourth place Chelsea with nine games remaining.

A 2-0 win over fierce rivals Manchester City in their last top-flight game highlighted Solskjaer’s turnaround, but it is unclear whether they will get the chance to continue their form.

The Premier League is currently postponed until April 30th, but that date could be put back further, leaving the season at threat of being cancelled.
