Beckham reveals who is better out of Ronaldo, Messi
“He, like Cristiano Ronaldo, who is not at his level, are both above the rest.”
Messi scored in the first leg of the Champions League tie as Barcelona secured a 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes.
But the Argentina captain was substituted off in the clash after he suffered a hamstring strain.
Javier Pastore handed PSG the advantage in the return leg before Messi’s introduction in the second half as he played a part in Pedro’s equaliser.
“We were leading before Messi came in, and once he came in, Barcelona scored,” Beckham said.
The former PSG star, who retired from football after his time in the French capital, also came off the bench deep into the second half.
But Beckham was unable to help his side pull back ahead as PSG were dumped out of the Champions League.

“Our team played well. In both matches, we did things we should be proud of.
“We didn’t lose against Barcelona, and that is something that should motivate us for the next season.”
