Inter dismiss Man Utd claims on Lukaku fee; ready to re-negotiate

Manchester United and Inter Milan remain locked in talks over Romelu Lukaku’s outstanding fee.

The cash is due United after Inter missed a deadline to pay a €1.9m bonus. As part of the original agreement, should any installments be missed, Inter would be required to pay in full all money owed immediately.

However, Inter directors believe United are just trying their luck and instead are confident of negotiating a new arrangement over when and how fees will be paid.
