Spurs get Son injury boost ahead of Newcastle clash
Tottenham have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their Premier League return at Newcastle United.
On the back of a two-week international break, Spurs are set to resume their top-four charge against Steve Bruce’s relegation-threatened side on Sunday afternoon (2.05pm).
And they could head to St James’ Park with Son Heung-min back in their matchday squad.
Amid yet another hugely successful season, the South Korean forward picked up an injury during last month’s North London derby defeat to arch rivals Arsenal
Heung-min pulled up after 19 minutes on March 14 with a hamstring strain.
It seems, however, as though the international break came at a good time for the Tottenham man, who has scored 17 goals and laid on 14 assists in 39 games across all competitions this season.
Once again, the 28-year-old has forged an irresistible partnership with England captain Harry Kane.

The pair remain integral to the club’s hopes of Champions League qualification for next season and the anticipated return of Heung-min, who has been pictured in training during the build-up, is certain to come as welcome news to Jose Mourinho ahead of the run-in.
