Osimhen, Nwankwo on target as two Eagles clash in Serie A
It was a battle of Super Eagles attackers in the Italian top-flight as Napoli hosted Crotone, and both players were on target for their respective clubs in the seven-goal thriller.
Simy’s brace for Crotone could not stop Napoli to win 4-3.
Victor Osimhen scored his fourth league goal, while Simy Nwankwo scored his 14th goal in the Serie A clash between Napoli and Crotone.

Lorenzo Insigne opened the scoring for Napoli in the 19th minute before Osimhen increased the tally in the 22nd minute for Napoli. Three minutes later Nwankwo hit the back of the net for Crotone in the keenly contested duel to reduce the tally.

Determined Gattuso boys bounced back as Dries Mertens scored another goal in the 34th minute to give Napoli an outright win but the Nigerian Simy Nwankwo refused to give up easily when he scored for Crotone in the 49th minute, four minutes after half time as Junior Messias levelled up in the 58th minute.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo scored the back-breaking goal for Napoli in the 72nd minute.
