Tuchel pushing Chelsea to compete with Man Utd for Varane
Chelsea are threatening Manchester United’s plans for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
United are in contact with Real Madrid and Varane’s agents about a summer deal for the France international, who is now inside the final 18 months of his current deal.

But BILD’s football chief Christian Falk reports Chelsea are also keen.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, aware of Varane’s availability, is pushing to compete with United for the player’s signature.
For their part, Real Madrid are seeking at least €70m to sell.
