Liverpool forced to sell fringe players cheap

Liverpool are being forced to sell their fringe players on the cheap.

According to the Mirror, Liverpool have pocketed just over £20m for Grujic and Wilson despite holding out for £40 million last summer.

The pair have both secured permanent moves away having spent the last few seasons out on loan.

Grujic, Jurgen Klopp’s first signing back in 2016, was at Porto last term and has now secured a long-term stay, costing the Portuguese club £10.5m

Wilson meanwhile has played for the likes of Derby, Bournemouth and Cardiff City, with his potential clear for all to see.

But with opportunities hard to come by at Anfield the Welshman has now headed to Fulham for £12m.
