Tottenham rubbish claims over Nuno compo
Tottenham have rubbished claims that Nuno’s contract carries a clause denying him compensation if sacked.
The Athletic reported the Spurs boss has a clause in his contract stating he would not receive any compensation if he were to be sacked at the end of the season after failing to secure a top-six finish.
The report claims chairman Daniel Levy successfully implemented the terms when reaching an agreement with Nuno this summer.

But Spurs are said to have stressed that the report was ‘inaccurate’ – meaning Daniel Levy may have to part ways with a huge sum if he wants to ditch another Portuguese boss.
“A Tottenham spokesperson said the information regarding the clause in Nuno’s contract is inaccurate,” the Athletic has stated.
