Abia Warriors Unveil Amapakabo As New Head Coach

NPFL side Abia Warriors Football Club on Wednesday unveiled former junior international, Imama Amapakabo as its new Head Coach after signing a two-year contract with the Umuahia side.

The ceremony which held at the Umuahia Township Stadium was anchored by the Club’s Secretary Ebere Esiaba and Sporting Director Patrick Ngwaogu.

After the unveiling,  Amapakabo promised to lead the team to glory in the new season while calling for the support of fans and the entire team.

Amapakabo will be recalled in 2016 led Rangers International of Enugu to its first League win after 34 years.

He was the Assistant Coach to the Super Eagles to the last 2018 Senior World Cup in Russia. He was also the coach of the home-based Super Eagles.
