NPFL: Rivers United want to end first round perfectly, says Festus

Rivers United captain, Austine Festus has declared that his side wants to end the first round of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) ‘perfectly’.

Festus, who just returned to the team after missing the 1-1 draw against MFM FC due to a high injury, will lead his in-form side out against Abia Warriors in the Match-Day 19 of the NPFL

‘We are here in Umuahia to pick the three points and end the first round perfectly,’ Festus told SportingLife.

‘We are in good form but we have put the past matches behind us and face the current situation. Abia Warriors is our current task and what matters the most at this moment so we are very focus.’

Abia Warriors are yet to lose a game at home this season and sit 12th with 22points while Rivers United are currently placed fourth with 27points.
