Roma striker, Eldor Shomurodov, is confident he and Tammy Abraham can be successful as a partnership.
Shomurodov believes coach Jose Mourinho will try to pair the two down the road.
“All the players want to play, but Roma are a great team,” he said. “I try to give my best, both when I enter from the bench and when I start.
“I continue to work and can also play together with Abraham. I think Mourinho will try us together later.”
Of his move from Genoa, Shomurodov also told La Gazzetta dello Sport, “Mourinho spoke to my agent and then with me.
“I couldn’t believe it was closing so quickly. There’s no pressure working with him. As a team, we all work for the common goal.
“The first meeting was exciting, now we are like a teacher and his student. He’s a great psychologist, it’s interesting to work with him.”
