Abramovich willing to sell Chelsea for £3bn

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will consider selling the club for £3bn.

Abramovich has decided to sell the club having become frustrated by his British visa problems.

The Blues were forced to deny reports last month that the Russian billionaire is looking to cash-in
after 15 years in West London.

An offer of £2bn is reported to have been tabled by Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe, but it
will take a far bigger bid for Abramovich to walk away.

The 51-year-old had issues renewing his existing visa in June in the wake of political tensions between
Russia and Britain.
