AC Milan shortlist ex- Chelsea chief Emenalo for Sports director job
Former Chelsea Technical Director Michael Emenalo could be heading to Italy after being linked to the sporting director position for Seria A side AC Milan according to Italian online publication tuttomercatoweb.
The Italian side have shortlisted Emenalo and English coach Ralf Rangnick ahead of the next season.
According to the online publication, Emenalo is well respected by the Italian club owing to his achievements with Chelsea where he started as a chief scout before he was promoted to technical director in his 10-year stay at the Stamford Bridge.
“There would have been a recent meeting, however, so it is a very strong hypothesis. However, one of the above hypotheses could arrive on the bench,” the website stated.
He is back to the labour market after leaving Ligue 1 club Monaco, where he was sporting director for two years.
