AFcon 2019: Nigeria gets debutants Burundi and Madagascar.

 

Nigeria was Friday in Cairo Egypt drawn against new comers Burundi, Madagascar and Guinea in Group B of the forth coming Nations cup.  The Three time African Champions got what many would easily regard as a fair group as they successfully avoided the arch rivals, Elephants of Cote d Ivoire, Black Stars of Ghana and Palenca  Negras of Angola.

Eagles qualified with panache for the Nations cup picking their ticket with a match to spare.  Nigerian international Odion Ighalo ended the qualifiers as highest goal scorer and was given a thumbs up at the event that attracted crème dela crème of the of the football industry.  The opening match will be between hosts Egypt and Zimbabwe. Defending champions Cameroon will be slugging it out with Black Stars of Ghana, Guinea Bissau and Benin Republic. Eagles captain Ahmed Musa however said though it was a good draw but that no one will be underrated.  He said though it looks like and easy group but is not as easy as it looks and no team will be underrated
