.Warns that NFF crisis may ruin Nigeria's chances

The Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr is worried that the ongoing rift at the glasshouse of the Nigeria Football Federation may jeopardize Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup  of Nations (AFCON).

The Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr is worried that the ongoing rift at the glasshouse of the Nigeria Football Federation may jeopardize Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup  of Nations (AFCON).

Rohr who is currently out of the country wants an early resolution so that his plans for the qualification may go on without constraints.

The Eagles need to win the 2019 AFCON qualifying match away to Seychelles to bounce back to reckoning
in the qualification series of the competition.

The Franco-German Coach however wants a peaceful atmosphere to execute the qualifying matches starting
from the September 7, 2018 match.

He is worried that if the crisis continues, it may have adverse effect on the execution of the match , a reason why he is hoping for quick resolution of the crisis.

“I hope that Nigeria will be allowed to play the AFCON qualifying match against Seychelles on the 7th
of September, (2018). I am concerned about the crisis at the NFF.

“I am already working on my report on the just concluded world cup which I will present next weekend in Rabat, Morocco at the CAF conference”, Rohr disclosed to SportingLife.ng from his base.
