AFCON 2021: Simon Moses deserves all the praises – Troost-Ekong

William Troost-Ekong has showered encomiums on teammate Moses Simon after another good outing against Sudan over the weekend.

Simon was impressive as he scored one and assisted another goal to lead Nigeria to 3-1 win over Sudan at the Ominisports Roumde Adjia on Saturday.

Recalled, he also had a great game against the Pharaohs of Egypt in Group opening game last Tuesday.

After the game, the former Udinese and Busarspor defender praised the rejuvenated Simon, after another good display.

“Moses Simon has worked very hard. He is taking his chance very well. I am very happy for him. He was named man of the match.”

“He deserves it. He was excellent in the last game as well. We are all proud of him,” he stated.
