AFCON QUALIFIER: Eagles to wear green jersey against Seychelles

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be sported in green shirts over white shorts when they tackle the Pirates of Seychelles in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the 10,000 capacity Stade Linité in Victoria.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be sported in green shirts over white shorts when they tackle the Pirates of Seychelles in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the 10,000 capacity Stade Linité in Victoria.

This was confirmed at the Match Coordination meeting by the General Secretary of the Seychelles Football Federation (SFF) Georges Bibi on Friday evening.

At the meeting which was at the SFF secretariat and attended by match officials from Mauritius, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya, it was decided that the host side would wear their traditional red –top- and-shorts with white stripes.

kenya’s referee Omweno Devis will be at the centre and he will be assisted by compatriot Cheruiyot Gilbert (assistant referee 1) and Ugandans Isorlko Mark (assistant referee 2) and Muhabi Alli (reserve referee). Mustapha Chitbahal from Mauritius is the match commissioner while Leslie Leonard Liunda from Tanzania is the referee assessor.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles had their last training session at the Stade Linite on Friday evening, with
all 21 players fit for selection to garner the three points on offer for Nigeria.
