AFCON: Tragedy: U-17 Guinean footballer dies in auto crash
Guinea has been thrown into national mourning following the death of a member of its U-17 National Team currently taking part in the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
17-year-old Aly Soumah died in a tragic road crash on his way to his home after he was disqualified from participating having failed the MRI test.
Consequently he was sent home before Guinéa’s opening game on Monday against Cameroon.
According to reports Soumah was involved in a road accident at the Kindia road in Guinea and died few hours later.
He had traveled with the rest of his mates to Dar Es Salaam- for the tournament but unfortunately he was left out the Guinea final 21 man squad by his coaches.
