AFCON: Troost-Ekong confident of good outing against Sudan
Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong says he’s looking forward to another great game against Sudan on Saturday.
Nigeria started their 2021 African Cup of Nations campaign with an impressive win over Egypt on Tuesday.
The team will now face Sudan in their next group game, and Ekong said Nigerians should expect another masterclass from the team.
“I think the whole team defended well against Egypt and didn’t give many chances away. So it was a fantastic performance from the boys.
“We will continue with the same work ethic and professionalism.”

“Every game is different, but Nigerians should expect good performance from us and hopefully, we will make them proud,” he said.
Nigeria currently is top of Group D with six points — two more than Guinea-Bissau and Sudan while Egypt occupies the bottom of the table with no point.
