AFCON U-23: Olympic Eagles to play Zambia, others at El Salam stadium

Nigeria’s U-23 National Team will play all their preliminary matches of the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations at the El-Salam Stadium in Egypt.

This was confirmed by the Egypt Football Federation ahead of the tournament which kicks off from November 8.

Nigeria is drawn in Group B along with South Africa, Zambia and Ivory Coast while host Egypt is in group A with Ghana, Cameroon, and Mali and will play their matches at the Cairo International Stadium.

Eight teams across Africa will contest for 3 Olympic tickets allocated for Africa in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics games.

Egypt will kick off the tournament with the opening game against Mali.
