Afonja Warriors hit Lagos in search of three points against MFM

 

Kwara United say they have only one mission at the temple this Sunday, to claim the three points at stake pure and simple.

The Ilorin based side revealed their arrival at the Centre of Excellence today informing their fans that they have arrived but reminded them that the battle of the temple at the Agege Stadium is scheduled for tomorrow adding they came in search of three points no more no less.

“We welcome you all to Lagos but have it at the back of your mind that it will be and endless search at the Soccer Temple on Sunday. Search for another away point Squared vs @MFMFC_Lagos in the #NPFL21 #MD7 at Agege Stadium. Harmony BoyFlexed biceps” the team dished out shortly after arrival.

The Harmony boys go into Sunday’s match fresh from their double victory over Enyimba and IfeanyiUba respectively in Ilorin.

The match against Enyimba incidentally had former Enyimba and Super Eagles goalie Dele Aiyenugba behind the sticks for the Ilorin side.

The visitors may need to deploy the entire arsenal in their armory against MFM who will be hoping to pick three points at home after failing to win away tie going into Sunday’s clash.

Six matches have been lined up for Sunday including Sunshine Stars versus Rangers international Jigawa Golden Stars against Heartland and Lobi Stars against Abia Warriors in Markudi.
