Ahead Norwich match: Tammy needs self-belief–Lampard
Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has called on striker Tammy Abraham not to lose hope while he continues to search for his maiden premier league goal.
The Chelsea manager still winless this season spoke at a pre-match conference on Friday ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Norwich City at Carrow Road.
Lampard reminded his strikers that it would be a different ball game and therefore urged them to be at their best.
“We work hard on the training pitch for that. What I have got is great attitudes in the three strikers and the other players. Tammy’s goes in off the post at United it is a different story. It’s about belief,” he said.
“Norwich away is not an ideal fixture, it’s a tough, tough match. The fans are buzzing there at the moment and it will be tough,” he said at the pre-match conference on Friday.
Besides seeing his shot hit the post against United in their opening match, Abraham has been under fire for the penalty miss against Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup a fortnight ago.
