Ahmed Musa 10 caps away from equaling Yobo, Enyeama’s records

Saudi Arabia based winger Ahmed Musa is now the third most capped player in the Super Eagles set-up after the exit of former captains Joseph Yobo and Vincent Enyeama.

The 27-year-old made his 91st appearance for the senior team in Sunday’s 4-2 victory against the Crocodiles of Lesotho in Maseru at the Setsoto Stadium.

This means the winger is just ten caps from equalling the records of Enyeama and Yobo.

Musa who was playing in his second match for Nigeria since returning from injury this month was a second-half substitute in the game which the three-time African champions dominated after drawing level in the first half.

It also posted that Alex Iwobi who scored the country’s equaliser against Lesotho has featured in 14 games played by the Super Eagles in 2019.
