Ahmed Musa not sure of starting shirt against Benin

Super Eagles’ captain, Ahmed Musa may come off the bench against the Squirrels of Benin Republic in Wednesday’s AFCON qualifier in Uyo.

The likes of Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu may get the nod ahead of Musa who scored a brace at the weekend for Saudi club, Al Nassr.

Musa has been away from the team due to injury but has commended his teammates for doing well in his absence.

”’It is not that easy after the AFCON to miss two important games, but I was home watching the games and they played very well.

”For me, If the coach can give me the chance to go ahead with the team that played against Brazil, I feel very happy coming back,” he said at today’s pre-match conference.
