Aiteo Cup: Bad officiating robbed Bayelsa Queens Q/final ticket-Timitimi

The Chairman of Bayelsa Queens Football Club Ebiki Timitimi has described the officiating of the Aiteo Cup quarter final game between Delta Queens and Bayelsa Queens as a show of shame which if not checked will discourage clubs from taking part in future competitions.
Q/final ticket
Bayelsa Queens goalkeeper, Alaba Jonathan
Timitimi alleged that the match officials practically marred the beautiful game with their one-sided calls which took out the shine of the match to the point that the fans at the Dan Anyiam Stadium almost became uncontrollable.
The Chairman of Chairmen of Women Football Club Owners said the manner the quarter final was handled especially the centre referee and his assistants seems as if there was specific instruction to ensure that Bayelsa Queens did not go beyond quarter final of the Aiteo Cup.
“I feel pained and unhappy because I am an apostle of good football . I hardly complain but this quarter final match was a robbery of the highest order. I accept defeat if my team did not play well. The officiating was so bad that I almost stopped my girls from continuing but as a former player and my passion for the round leather game , I had to encourage my girls to continue irrespective of the frustration.
