Akwa United ask Everton to step aside after NPFL flop
The management of Akwa United has reportedly asked their head coach, Rafael Everton to step aside in the wake of the team’s perceived unimpressive outing at the NPFL Championship Playoffs which ended yesterday at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.
Reasons for the directive from the Akwa United’s management is not yet known but it will be connected with the Promise Keepers poor form in the tournament that will be used to determine the three teams that will represent Nigeria on the continent next season.
