AL Nassr 5 – 0 AL Fateh: Musa nets brace

Nigerian International, Ahmed Musa was in superb form last night as he grabbed a brace in his club, AL Nassr’s 5-0 demolition of AL Fateh in a Saudi Premier League tie played at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium.

The win helped the Riyadh based side maintain their leadership position on the log with 64 points from 28 matches just one point ahead of their closest rivals, AL Hilal Riyadh who are second with 63 points but with a game in hand.

It was nearly a total African dominance in the encounter as it was Moroccan striker, Abderrazak “Abdo” Hamdallah who put the host ahead in the 28th minute and went ahead to grab his brace in the 55th minute.

Musa also scored a brace by scoring the second and the last goal for the Saudi side in the 30th and 79th minute while Brazilian star, Giuliano also found the back of the net for the league leaders in what was a one-sided affair.

The Super Eagles’ star who joined the Saudi Arabian side on 4 August 2018, for a reported fee of £14.5 million has now scored seven goals in 23 matches and made a couple of assists during his maiden campaign in the far east.
