Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is set to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.
The Austrian is not renewing his contract, and Bayern will let him run it down and leave when the season concludes.
It means the player can talk with clubs in January and even sign a pre-contract.
And Sport1 in Germany is reporting that Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid are the three clubs most likely to sign him.
All would welcome a defender of his quality, and would be able to offer him the high wages he wants.
The 28-year-old wants a big money deal, as he knows it could be his last big contract in the sport.
