Almost a full house in the U23 camp

All the players invited to the U23 camp preparatory for the Olympic Games qualifier with Libya have all arrived the Abuja camp of the team besides, Solomon Nsude of FC IfeanyiUbah.

Imama Amapakabo who is the head coach of the U-23 team last week extended invitation to 33 players based in the Nigerian league and 32 of the players listed have started training at the FIFA Goal Project Training Pitch in Abuja with Nsude the only player being expected.

SportingLife.ng gathered that Nsude who started the season brightly for the Anambra Warriors has reportedly travelled out and he is being awaited very soon to join the rest of his colleague in the national team.

The U23 team is camped at the Serob Legacy Hotel in Abuja and they have been training twice per day since the camp resumed last week.

A top source within the camp of the team told SportingLife.ng that it is not yet certain if the players will be released to their clubs for the midweek league games billed for Wednesday in the light of the short period between the camping and the first leg tie against Libya in Tunisia next month.
