Amapakabo: We respect not fear Libya

Super Eagles’ assistant coach, Imama Amapakabo has revealed that they have a lot of respect for Libya whom they confront this Saturday in an Africa Cup of Nations first leg qualifier, but at the same time played down the thought that they were afraid of the North Africans.

“We respect Libya like any other team or opponent. The respect is mutual. But it does not translate to fear because they are the group leaders,”

“The mood in camp is good, everybody is prepared for the tough task ahead.

“We know the quality of the Libyans knowing full well they sit at the top of the group.We respect them,

“We have two difficult games against Libya knowing that they are no pushovers. We also know how
important the games are.

“That’s why we are working very hard to achieve the best results which is winning come Saturday and
then on Tuesday in the return leg,” he concluded.
