Amusan cruises into semis of 100m Women’s hurdles
Team Nigeria’s Oluwatobi Amusan is through to the semi-final of 100m Women’s Hurdles of the Tokyo Olympics Games.
Tobi in the early hour of Saturday won Heat 3 of the 100m Women’s Hurdles with a time of 12.72 second to qualify for the semifinal.
The 23-year-old crossed the finish lane ahead of Jamaican Yanique Thompson and Polish Pia Skrzyszowska who returned with the time of 12.74 and 12.75 seconds respectively.

Amusan, who is ranked number four in the world in the 100m hurdles, will now compete in the semi-final by O11.45 am on Sunday.
She one of Nigeria’s hope of picking a meal in the Athletics events at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics games.
