Anderson signs new Everton deal
Joe Anderson has penned new terms with Everton.
The 20-year-old was due to be out of contract at the end of this month but is now tied to the Blue until next summer.
Anderson was attracting interest from a host of Football League clubs with the prospect of a quicker route to first-team football on the table, says the Liverpool Echo.

“I am going to start my pre-season now and come back fitter and stronger,” Anderson said.
“I am one of the senior [Under-23] lads and want more responsibility… to take a few younger lads under my wing and help them through their first years.
“For me [the aim is] to make sure I smash it in the pre-season games and cement my starting spot for the beginning of the season.”
